This full-size 5 1/2' graphite fishing rod separates into five detachable sections that tuck securely into their own 17" long carrying case, letting you conveniently take a full-size rod and reel anywhere you travel. The lightweight aluminum spinning reel is made by Mitchell, manufacturers of spinning reels since 1948. It has a gear ratio of 5.1:1 with four smooth bearings for clean casting and retrieval. Rated for a 6-lb. line with a 160-yard capacity, the reel has instant anti-reverse and twist-free features for added control and to prevent line tangles that snarl lesser reels. With four stainless steel guide inserts and a cork-lined grip, the rod is rated for 1/8- to 3/8-oz. lures. The reel is suitable for both right- and left-handed use .
