Its that time of year again! I know when I put the countdown widget on the front page of the website, the opening day is not far off.  It time to pull the fishing gear out, get your boated cleaned and ready for the water. Its is a magical time of year, the calm before before the storm.   Its so exciting to vision zipping acros the lake on a bright warm sunny day heading to your favortie fishing spot.

The 25th annual Trouts unlimited dinner is at the Crown Plaze Hotel on May 6th. Check the calendar link for their website.  I have attended every year and its a great event. When you get a ballroom with fishing people who really care and chwerish the fishign industry in Alberta. If you never attended, please do, you be great you did.

I am very pleased that we are over 208 members now on the website and 246 members on the fishing forums. We have over 800 members on Facebook. Thanks for all the support.

As a member you can post pictures, video's, and add calendar events. Please post as many pictures as you want, we have a big server, but for best results, make pictures 600 x 400 for faster loading.

As mentioned excited about the upcoming fishing season, looks like its going to be a great summer of fishing.  I wish you all well, and all the best in your fishing experiences this summer.
