Fishing Alberta.Net

Hello, hope everyone enjoyed a great summer. It isn't over just quite yet, i predict many more sunny days and excellent fishing yet to come. Fishing in the fall when the leaves are turning color is one of my most favorite times. It the frost in the morning and the cool air that  takes me awhile to get me going before that sun comes out.

If your like me with a inboard, it is almost time to start lining things out for the annual winterization which usually occurs mid October if the weather holds in the cool morning hours. Over the years I learned to do the entire boat check of  tasks to make sure it has it has a nice safe storage over the winter. i beleive we have some video's  of these procedures and procautions when caring for your boat. As far as the lucky ones who use smaller boats and outboards you have a bit more time.  A heated garage, well good for you.

Fishing Alberta Net is now on Facebook, for those of you that are well facebook friendly. The list of friends has grown to almost 500 in a couple of weeks, ah the power of the internet.

i know alot of our members have alot of pictures to share, so feel free to upload them anytime. You can also add video's or put events on the calendar if you choose.

On a personal note, fishing this year was good, not quite as successful as last year, but was still alot of fun. My goal was to prevent any boating mishaps of any kind, wait there was one now that I think of it, I had a lovely young lady who decided to cut right behind me full speed and cut my trolling line, I was ready for the rod to go airborne, but the line just cut, so it wasn't a big deal.
